HR Generalist
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist to join our dynamic startup in Hayward, California. The HR Generalist will manage a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations etc. As a key player in shaping our growing organization, you’ll be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting our team in both operational and strategic HR tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking on diverse challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires.
- Address employee inquiries and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support performance reviews and goal-setting to drive employee development.
- Implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and promote company culture.
- Oversee offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and ensure smooth transitions for departing employees.
- Handle additional HR-related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of stable experience in the HR field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- Experience in handling global HR is a plus.
- Familiarity with labor laws and employee relations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
- A smart, flexible, and proactive approach to HR challenges.
