Pre Sales Engineer - DC & Liquid Cooling
Position Summary
Leverages IT technical competency to provide pre-sales and post-sales engineering guidance / support for Bytebridge sales team, customers and business partners to design best-in-class systems / solutions to optimize the customer experience, thereby supporting increasing revenue and profitability across S.E Asia for products / services represented by Bytebridge.
Essential Functions
- Act as a technical consultant for liquid cooling solutions in data centers, supporting sales opportunities.
- Work with customers to design customized pre-sales solutions, ensuring optimal thermal performance and energy efficiency.
- Develop and present technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution briefs for customers and business partners.
- Generate technical documentation, including thermal analysis reports, system schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Conduct onsite and remote product demonstrations of liquid cooling and high-density computing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for data center cooling and IT infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of liquid cooling technologies (e.g., direct-to-chip cooling, immersion cooling, cold plate cooling).
- Knowledge of thermal dynamics, mechanical engineering, and IT infrastructure within data centers.
- Experience in data center design, power distribution, and network infrastructure.
- Ability to conduct thermal modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis is a plus.
- Strong customer-facing and pre-sales experience, with the ability to translate technical expertise into business value.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Industry certifications related to data center cooling, IT infrastructure, or networking (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, ASHRAE certification).
- 3 – 5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering for IT infrastructure solutions.
- Ideal candidates have data center liquid cooling experience.
